Ohio Valley Energy is a locally owned and operated company, with headquarters in Austintown, Ohio. The company and its predecessor have been in business since 1986.

We own and operate more than 250 oil and gas wells and own interests in an additional 350 wells, all in Ohio and Pennsylvania.

  • Royalties are divided proportionally according to each landowner’s acreage within the unit.
  • Royalties are calculated monthly; however, a check is not issued until your account reaches $40 or over.  The frequency of your payments is dependent upon the size of your property, the current price we are receiving for gas and/or oil, and how productive the well is.
  • It is the responsibility of the landowner to inform us of any changes that should be made to an account.
  • ROYALTIES FOLLOW THE OWNERSHIP OF THE PROPERTY.  CHANGES WILL NOT BE MADE IF THEY DO NOT MATCH THE AUDITOR’S WEBSITE OF THE COUNTY THE PROPERTY IS LOCATED UNLESS THE MINERALS WERE RETAINED FROM A PREVIOUSLY OWNED PROPERTY.
